Miami International Airport has three terminals, labeled North, Central and South. Between them, they contain six concourses, lettered D (North Terminal); E, F, and G (Central Terminal; and H and J (South Terminal). Passengers can use moving walkways to navigate between terminals, or catch the Skytrain for a faster way to tackle the mile-long Concourse D.

Rental Cars at MIA Airport

The airport’s rental car center is connected to the Central Terminal via the MIA Mover people mover, located on the third level between the Dolphin and Flamingo garages. Use the third level Skyride moving walks to access the MIA Mover station. Feel like walking? The walk time from the arrival area to the tram could be as long as 15 minutes versus a four-minute ride on the MIA Mover.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference of a national and international rental car?

International cars can be more expensive, but domestic cars have fewer options than international.

International cars can be more expensive, but they offer greater comfort and safety equipment like air conditioning, seatbelts, antilock brakes, and so on.

The number of miles you plan to drive daily should guide your selection of a car.

You should consider a domestic car (local) if you are traveling more than 100 miles from the airport. These cars are usually cheaper.

But if you will be doing lots of driving around cities and going off-road, then you should opt for an international model.

What is the best road trip in Europe?

Road trips that allow you to stop at interesting stops along the way are better than those that just take you from A to Z.

There are many great roads throughout Europe, but none quite as breathtaking as the route from Venice to Dubrovnik.

You will drive through stunning scenery most of your trip. There are numerous stops along the road to stop and take in all the sights.

Highlights include Torcello and Lido di Jesolo islands on Lake Garda, northern Italy's Dolomites and Lake Como, and Carcassonne, a walled medieval town in southern France.

Can you rent a car in Europe with a US license?

It all depends on where you're visiting. For instance, if you go to France, you may be able to rent cars there. However, you cannot rent cars to Italy if the country doesn't accept US driver licenses.

How do I document any pre-existing damage to the car rental?

Take all necessary documentation with you, including photos. You can ask the agent for assistance if the damage is not obvious. In the event of any damage to your vehicle, an inspection may be required.

Is it possible for you to rent a car and then drop it off at Spain?

You can, and it's possible. This is known as "car hire". Many companies offer this service online.

You just need to check if the Spanish and Portuguese authorities license them.

You can contact them directly via their websites. They should have all the information needed.

Are you looking for a car in Europe and need one?

The best solution to your problem depends on where you live, what you do and how you think. A typical European city might have different priorities from a rural area.

It is also important to consider how long you will be staying in each country. An economical car is not the best option if you plan on moving around often.

In most cases, buying a second-hand car is better than renting one. It is often cheaper to buy a used car than rent one in Europe. You save money on fuel, parking fees and maintenance costs.

You can also drive the car safely knowing that you own it.

There are many websites that provide useful information about European car rentals. You should check out the following recommendations.
